Functional Planning
Prior to beginning any architectural design, L360 recommends undertaking a functional planning phase. We seek to answer the following questions: What is the nature and scope of the problem? How much and what type of space is needed? What space will be needed in the future to continue to operate efficiently? What additional information is required to develop a proper architectural solution to the problem?
Functional plans provide our clients with a clear understanding of the activities to be accommodated and the functional criteria to be achieved in the design; a framework to evaluate potential design solutions or alternatives; and a detailed description of the project and facility needs for submission to approving or funding authorities.
